About the Event
The Museum of Youth Culture is a newly emerging museum collecting and telling stories about youth movements, scenes, styles and sounds from the length and breadth of Britain, and across many different movements and eras, up to and including the present day.
Every museum visitor has youth in common, being young or having once been so. By focussing on memories of youth, and allowing those who contribute to tell the stories they want to in the ways they want, the Museum of Youth Culture is on the path to becoming a truly representative museum of the people, of which anyone can contribute.
This session will be of particular interest in considering representation, rapid and contemporary collecting, narrative approaches, and health, wellbeing and social impact.Register online
