MGS has funded eight places on the MA's skills programme aimed at mid-Career Professionals wanting to develop innovative ways of working be able to influence more effectively and create change for themselves and their organsiations.
Skills for the Future trains and supports people from diverse backgrounds to start their careers in the museums and galleries sector. We run the project in partnership with the Heritage Lottery Fund. Previous projects include Heritage Horizons and the MGS Interns Programme.
Our biennial conference brings together individuals working in culture, heritage and the third sector in Scotland and nationally to discuss and debate best practice in the 21st century.
Festival of Museums concluded in 2018 and will replaced in due course by a new regional engagement fund.
