National Galleries Scotland are seeking to appoint new Trustees to their Board

Are you interested in being part of the leadership of the National Galleries of Scotland in some exciting developments over the next four years?
National Galleries Scotland are looking for up to four enthusiastic Trustees with an an enthusiasm for museums and galleries and who feel they could make a positive contribution to the work of the Board. They are also seeking applications from individuals with a more specific skills-set in accountancy who could bring and share their experience and expertise with the Board. More broadly, NGS is seeking to broaden the diversity of its Board. It is important that its Board has members from a range of geographic regions in Scotland and we actively encourage and support applications from individuals across Scotland as well as the rest of the UK.
New appointees will support the NGS in managing the national collection of fine art which showcase's Scottish art in its international context.
Two new appointees will formally take up post from 16 March 2020 with the other two members taking up post on 1 November 2020 for a period of up to four years. The posts are not remunerated but reasonable travel and subsistence costs will be met.
