Want to develop a social media presence or launch a new account for your organisation or project?
For SHSMG’s December event, attendees will hear from Dr Kristin Leith FSAScot, Senior Curator of Clocktime, a new digital museum which enables a worldwide audience to discover how British clockmakers changed our world. Kristin’s team launched the social media accounts for Clocktime in early 2024 and have been steadily growing their follower and engagement numbers ever since.
In addition to a whistle stop tour of the digital museum, Kristin will talk about what platforms they chose and why, how they’ve been sharing and adapting website content for social media on different platforms, and what communities/target audiences they decided to cultivate as followers. She’ll also cover how they grew their follower numbers from zero, what they chose to track and report on, and key takeaways (including what worked well, and what they’d do differently going forward).
This online event will conclude with a Q&A session.
