Find out more about Reveal and Connect: African and Caribbean Collections in Scottish Museums.

This online event is an opportunity to hear how the project is helping museums across Scotland to gain a better understanding and overview of African and Caribbean collections. We will also discover how this work is already facilitating new partnerships, collaborations and wider audience engagement with these collections.

We will hear from:

  • Project curator, Dr Nikki Grout, who will present a summary and highlights of the review.
  • Steering Group members Annelize Kotze, Iziko Museums of South Africa, and Dr Shani Roper, University of the West Indies Museum, who will share their reflections on the project.
  • Scottish museums, who will share ongoing and planned legacy projects.

NMS will share a more detailed agenda and a link to the collections review report before the event.
